# BandMate

> BandMate is a free web app and PWA for musicians and bands to manage chord sheets and setlists.

BandMate helps musicians organize their songs with chords, lyrics, and key details (BPM, capo, tone, keyboard bank), and build setlists for live shows. It works on mobile and desktop and can be installed as a Progressive Web App.

- **Chord sheets**: Store and display songs with chords and lyrics in a monospaced layout. Supports sectioned format ([Verse], [Chorus], etc.)
- **Chord transposition**: Transpose chords up or down by semitone directly in the editor
- **Setlists**: Create and share ordered song lists for live performances, with drag-and-drop reordering
- **Metronome**: Built-in metronome synced to each song's BPM
- **Auto-scroll**: Hands-free scrolling during live performance
- **AI assistant**: Chat with an AI about the current song (chord suggestions, arrangements)
- **Collaboration**: Share songs and setlists with band members by email
- **Spotify integration**: Attach a Spotify embed to any song
- **Offline support**: Works offline as a PWA once installed
